Beddington Heights Winter Coat Drive 2025: A Heartwarming Community Success in NW Calgary
Community truly came together in the best way during the Beddington Heights Winter Coat Drive 2025, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the incredible turnout and generosity shown by residents in Beddington Heights, NW Calgary.
The event took place yesterday, and the response from our neighborhood was nothing short of inspiring. Neighbours stopped by throughout the day to donate warm winter clothing, helping ensure that individuals in need can stay safe and warm during Calgary’s long winter months.

An Overwhelming Show of Generosity
Thanks to the kindness of our community, we collected a wide range of essential winter items, including:
Winter jackets and coats
Boots
Mittens and gloves
Scarves and other cold-weather essentials
Every donation—big or small—made a meaningful difference. This coat drive was truly a community-driven effort, and the support from Beddington Heights residents was deeply appreciated.

Supporting Those in Need During Calgary Winters
Calgary winters can be harsh, and for many individuals, access to warm clothing can make a significant difference. This event was created with a simple goal: to help those who need extra support during the coldest months of the year.
Seeing neighbours come together for this cause was a powerful reminder of the compassion and community spirit that defines Calgary.

Grateful for the Calgary Drop-In & Rehab Centre
All donated items were delivered to the Calgary Drop-In & Rehab Centre through their Free Goods Program. The team welcomed us with warmth and kindness and helped unload the entire truck of donations.
I’m incredibly thankful for the important work they do every day to support Calgarians in need, and I’m honoured to have partnered with such an impactful organization.

Thank You, Beddington Heights
To everyone who donated, shared the event, or stopped by to show support—thank you. Your generosity made this Winter Coat Drive a true success and helped reinforce the strong sense of community we are lucky to have in Beddington Heights.
Events like this remind us that when a community comes together, real impact happens.

Looking Ahead
I look forward to continuing to support and organize community-focused initiatives like this one in the future. Together, we can keep making a difference—one act of kindness at a time.
